We receive no official funding nor do we receive any money from the National Lottery Fund. Donations received when we rehome dogs do not fully cover the veterinary costs. This means we rely heavily on the generosity of the public to continue our vital work in the West Yorkshire area.

If you DONATE and you are a tax payer, please help us make more of your donations by completing our Gift Aid Declaration! This will allow us to claim 25p back from the taxman for every £1 you give.

what does my money get used for...

As a rescue we use the generosity for the public to rehome 5 - 10 healthy dogs each week.

Our ongoing costs are..

  • veterinary costs, such as flea treatment, worming, neutering, and quite a few dogs get handed in injured, unfortunately, this is by far our biggest bill, and every month a battle to cover
  • dog food
  • transport costs
  • dog behavioural assessments by professional trainers and or behaviourists

Other Needs...

This is the kind of stuff we always need:

  • collars and leads
  • harnesses
  • muzzles
  • dog beds
  • dog crates
  • cat carry baskets (for use of transporting small dogs / puppies)
  • good quality dog food (but unopened ONLY)

please get in touch with kathy@westyorkshiredogrescue.co.uk to find out where you can drop off these things.
